From Stewart Clan Mag Apr 1923 p.37:
John Stewart, weaver, of Haverhill, Ma, is first mentioned in 1731 in the
Essex Co court records. Traditon says he came over the sea with a brother
Thomas, a doctor. Thomas went south perhaps to New York.
mar'd 1st Susanna Mitchell 09 Mar 1735/6. John settled on Sweet Hill in West
Parish, Haverhill, north of Captain's Pond.
2nd marriage Margaret Gilmore, d/o James & Jean or Margaret Gilmore.
1st mar children:
1. James Stewart(1736) died young
2. Mary(1738)(1772) m. David Gilmore, s/o James gilmore above.
3. Susanna(1740-1827) never married
4. James(1743-1769) m. Sarah Rawlings

2nd mar children:
Sarah(1755-1783) m. James Miller
John(Jun 1756-Jan 1784 m. Mary MCClure of Salem, NH
Anna teacher never mar'd d. 1837
Margaret m. Elijah Rice
Thomas ?
Lucinda?
William?

Do to all of the children in 3 generation 30 there has to be some info out
there some where.
