I doubt the ftp process will change.

As for the banners, the javascript code is automatically added by rw when your page is
accessed. There is nothing added to your files so you can't forget to add it. If you do
not add the custom banner code, rw will add their generic code.

I have seen sites on freepages where the banner does not show up on pages with poorly
done html. I surmise that rw's script is looking for some or all of the tags below so it
knows where to stick the banner:

<body>

It may take some experimenting to figure out what to leave out. It also may be an "arms
race" because as soon as you figure out how to circumvent it, rw will figure out how to
counter it. <very long sigh>
