How and where did you get the copy of the book. I realy would love to read it.
My search is brick walling with my g-g grandfather Edward Luther Sowers b: 25 Dec 1842 Mercer Va d: 14 Feb 1916 Popular Branch ,Currituck NC. Story told is his father was John A Sowers b: abt 1806 and worked for the railroad. John A was married to an Emmiline Stout. and they were married in Lynchburg Va 3 Sept 1827.
Edward was to have at least 2 brothers a (1)Tommy who owned and operated a furniture store in Bluefield Va and (2)John who also worked with the railroad (Norfolk & Western)Edward went to college and majored in music and minestry , when the War between the states broke out Edward joined the Army. I dont know any more about the other 2 brothers or the parents ( my g-g-g grandparents. If this rings a bell with anyone out there, I'd love hearing from you.
