Looking for the parents or any other information on John SOWERS (1854 - 1931).

In 1898 he married his second wife, Sarah Ella PATTERSON, b/Jul 7, 1878 (place unknown), d/Jan 1975 in Perks (Pulaski Co.), Illinois. Family tradition says he was a full-blooded German and his family came to the US through North Carolina.

Their children were Emma and Emory, twins born Apr. 14, 1900; Floyd born Jan 20, 1902; Lonnie and Katie, twins that died young; Ulmont; and Walter b/1918.

Sarah PATTERSON had a sister named Pearl. Family research shows a Thomas PATTERSON connected to this family and is believed to have been either Sarah's father, brother or uncle.
