while doing research on a Canadian branch I came across several more lines.
This is what I have on SOWERS.

John A. SOWERS/SAURS
wife Rhoda ELSWORTH\
daughter Katherine Ann b. 1809; died 9 Feb 1847; buried in Kings Co New
Brunswick Canada.

I'm just now starting on the SOWERS line and was wondering if anyone has done
any research on a Canadian branch. The name might be spelled SAURS or
SAUERS. They might be from Loyalist stock also.
