I have been able to breach a firewall in my genealogy search. I am very
grateful for those who post their information so that others may share.
Particular and especial thanks are tendered to Virginia Turley Willis for
her most helpful information.

My request at this time is for information on Jacob Sowers of Winchester,
Frederick County, Virginia.; born abt. 1710 in Germany, PA or VA. He
would have had a son named Daniel Sowers who became a Senator in
Virginia. Jacob wed Mary (last name unknown) about 1740.

The children of Jacob and Mary are:
Jacob Sowers 1742-1822
John Sowers 1744-1813
Daniel Sowers 1748 -
Elizabeth Sowers 1750
Susanna Sowers 1752
