In my Readers Digest Atlas of Southern Africa, ther are two (seasonal) rivers,
the Groot and the Klein Boetsap. They flow from the northwest into the Hartz
river, just south of the Spitzkop dam, which is west of Warrenton. The rivers
flow south east from the area of Kuruman.

Boetsap : Village near Barkly West, Cape Province.... The name
is of Hottentot origin.
