Looking for the family of Alfred Edward Maynard NEWBATT, born (according to
navy records) at Port Elizabeth, Cape Colony, on 20th Aug 1873.

Known to have joined the RN at Portsmouth, 28th Aug 1899 and believed to
have died at sea, shortly after Dec 1910.

Married Louisa HUGHES at Portsmouth, Q3 1901;

Their only child, Edward Marshall Maynard NEWBATT (1902-1968), was my wife's
father.

Awaiting a copy of the marriage cert., meanwhile, I'd be grateful for any
pointers as to where else I should be looking.
