I have a newspaper cutting of a photo taken of the Ficksburg "Rugby Football
Club" first team in 1913. Apart from the rest of the team which I will list
below, there is a tall lanky 19 year old in the middle of the group photo:
C.R. Swart. The photo was published 50 years later, but unfortunately this
clip does not include the name of the newspaper.

The team includes: J. du TOIT, D.P. ROSS, H. BADENHORST, C.R. SWART, W.F.
Cecil PEACOCK, P. FICK, Eric E. DAVIS, G.D. PRINSLOO, E. WILLE, Hugh R.
KEYTER, R.W. CHARLTON-PERKINS, John D. ROUX or le ROUX, S. P. BOTHA, I. Leo
de KLERK.
