This is one of the answers I have received on your query.

I spent this morning at the South African Achieves where they have a
collection of the earliest SARL records (Ex Estate of OM Koos ZS1AW) R.G.
Henwick does NOT appear in the first callbook (Vol 1 Sep 1931) He does
appear in that of Sep 1938 as
R.G. Henwick, ZS2L (ex ZT2Q), 71 Upper Pier St, Port Elizabeth.
P.S. The SARL started in May 1925. There are no records except those on the
council for these early days.
