Hello all:

I'm looking for Deborah JACKSON possibly in Durban but not
certain, daughter of Edgar Francis Barry Jackson born 1913/14
died in 1990s Durban, who was Commissioner of Police Durban
Central in the 1970s and before that Commander of Police
Pietermaritzburg; in WWII he was in the Police Battalion of 2nd
SA Division in Egypt, was captured at Tobruk, escaped in Italy
and then fought with the partisans until the end of the war.
Last known address of the Jackson family: 123 Maxwell Avenue,
Brighton Beach.
So far no joy with Jacksons in the phone directory. Its believed
that Deborah did not marry.

Edgar Francis Barry's father was Edgar Francis Jackson b 1885
Cape Town died 1938 in a car accident in Namaqualand (I have news
reports); in WWI was a Capt in Signals, SWA, prior to which he
was in CMP.

If anyone knows Deborah's current whereabouts there are cousins
in Australia anxious to comunicate with her; please contact me
off-list.
