Hello Marion
If you have a good library near you, it might have a copy of either
Burke's (or Debrett's) peerage & baronetage. If you can find the article
on "Dunbar of Durn, baronet" then you will see:
Sir Miles Drummond Dunbar, 7th baronet; born 21 Nov 1845, married
24 July 1873, Mary Louisa (who died 29 Nov 1922) 4th daughter of
John Hancorn Smith, of Melville Park, Lower Albany, South Africa
and had issue:"
It was this chap who was the Town Clerk of Queenstown for many
years. His ancestry is given in Burke's - he was descended from the
4th Earl of Moray; before that, the ancestry can be found in Burke's
"Extinct & Dormant Peerages". If needs be, I can make copies of
whatever is relevant and send to you.
