Dear list

I have been looking for descendants of Robert Grandin born late ninteenth
century in Natal. He is given in the SA Archives as 'half Zulu'. He taught
under John Dube (of ANC fame) at the Phoenix Industrial School at Oehlanga.

A Grandin relative has told me that he heard there were/are 'coloured'
Grandins in Kimberley. If there are, they are not in the SA telephone
directory White Pages. Is there a member of the list who lives in Kimberley
who could kindly tell me which authority in the town would know if these
Grandins are still resident there?
