Hi Dianne
I went into the Archives on
Search URL for SA Archives
http://www.national.archsrch.gov.za/sm300cv/smws/sm300cd?B4AD83C2
then I used ' RSA' - all achives, then I typed FORD EDWARD and
came up with quite a few - Edward's Will of 1835 filed in 1843.
James' DN is there for 1840, there is a DN for a John in 1847.
If you have any further problems just holler...
Kind regards
Lynn MacLeod
