Their second child was
William Henry Stirk b 19 Jul 1830 d. 12 Sep 1915 married 15 Apr 1857 Sarah
Sophia Elliott, b.13 Jun 1835 d. 1930
Their eldest son was
William Southey Stirk b. 5 Mar 1858 d. 15 Nov 1935 married Rosina Elizabeth
Tarr, b.18 Feb 1859 d. 9 Sep 1939.
Their eldest son was
William Calvin Stirk b. 6 Feb 1883 d. 1 Jul 1968 married Ruby May Page, b.
27 Jun 1885 d 29 Mar 1926.
Their third child was
Sydney William Stirk b 15 Nov 1914, married 1 Jun 1940 to Olive Hilda Hobbs,
b. 28 Sep 1919 d.9 Mar 1994.

Looks like the grandmother was the TARR.
I have on my webpages at www.tantrem.com/Settlers/settlers.htm a dynamic
tree with nearly all this family, the Southeys, Tarrs, etc. Use the
"Filtered Search" button and enter Stirk and William Calvin, and have fun!

I am looking for the mother and father of Sidney William STIRK
Born 15 November 1914, born in Vryburg
Married 1 July 1940 to Olive HOBBS
His father was apparently William Calvin STIRK
I was told his mother is Ruby Page, BUT I thought his mother was ??? TARR,
and could be wrong.
