It's not an accent (they are on vowels only), but a cedilla -- it looks
like a 5 appended under the C. On a Macintosh you do it with option-c
(รง), on Word for Windows you have to have the manual and then do alt
plus a four digit code with num lock switched on. (As always, it is
harder on Wintel!)
