Hi Pam
The main ports were Cape Town and Durban. If the boat departed from Durban
it may have stopped at Port Elizabeth on it's way down ~ not sure if the PE
port was operational for passenger liners in 1908.
Take care
Tessa

Can anyone suggest where passengers from the Johannesburg area would be
likely to board a boat for passage to England in 1908, and return to S.A. in
approx. 6 weeks. Would they travel as far as Cape Town or was there a port
closer to their home.
Regards, Pam in Arizona.
