Hi Becky/Gerda

What would prompt the colours of beading? Would it have been like a song
or
a poem, happy, sad, poor etc., describing their situation in life or would
it be like a good luck charm - to wear the beads of certain colours will
attract wealth, happiness and soon? Do eitherof you know? It is quite
fascinating to think that mostly we just see beadwork when we visit the
stalls, not realising that they perhaps have a great impact in the lives of
the different tribes.

I agree but sadly I don't know. Will see what I can find out during the week
and get back to you.
Thanks for your input.

Best wishes
Becky
