I am trying to trace my great-granfather's brother John (Jack) DRUMMOND.

He was born in Mosgiel, Otago, New Zealand on 20th July 1871 the son of
George and Elizabeth (nee MCLAUCHLAN) DRUMMOND.

George died when John was just over two years old.

Family lore is that Jack went to live in South Africa and had at least two
sons who both jopined the navy. None of John's siblings went to live in
South Africa.

Does anyone have this person in their family tree?
