Dear Carolyn

I am not aware of any SMYTHEs by the name of Maude, but then again, I am
missing some Smythes from England. My husband's grandfather Clinton only
came out to SA (and then to Zimbabwe) in the early 1900's. He had two
brothers that I would like to find, and a father that may have fought in SA
for the British army. But no proof at all. You don't have a name for
Maude's husband or son?
