Hi Lee,

I visited the archives this morning and took your request along. I could not
find a Norman BENNETT in the alphabetical index who died on 6 June 1961,
only a Norman who died on 2 April 1960 (TAB 5829/61) and a Norman Vincent
who died in 1974. Did your Norman not have a second name perhaps? If this is
not your Norman, I will see whether there is any BENNET who died on 6 June
1961 on my next visit to the archives.

The information re Norman Bennett who died on 2 Apr 1960 is as follows:
Name of deceased - BENNETT Notman
Birthplace - Boksburg
Names and addresses of the parents - Father Lister BENNETT; mother Phyliss
BENNETT.
Age of the deceased - 49 years.
Occupation of the deceased - Miner (E.R.P.M.)
Place of residence of the deceased - 704 Mabuya Street, Stirtonville.
Name of surviving spouse - Virginia BENNETT.
Place of marriage - Boksburg.
Date of demise - 2nd April 1960
Place of demise - E.R.P.M. Hospital, Boksburg.
Children - Benson (23 years); Kenneth (11 years); Lister (9 years) and
Reniet (5 years).
