I have Reunion 6.02 using OS 8.6 (I think).

To make SA compatible reports I go to
Create
Descendent Reports.

I then go to
Define layouts
Under settings, I click on Indent / Outline
and set the outline to legal, removing the generation prefix.

I then go to the tedious task of adding the relevant letters in front of the
numerals. Compiling a report to SA standards is rather tedious, I agree,
but this has been the best result.
