Hi Lucille,
The church in Mossel Bay is St Peter's and when my father in law was rector
the records were kept in the office in the rectory. Try writing to the
rector in Marsh Street Mossel Bay. I cannot remember the number or
telephone them. The number will be under Church of the Province of SA
(CPSA) in the white pages.
Good luck as I know that those records are fascinating.

I would like to know what churches were in existence in George/ Mossel Bay/
Uniondale in the period 1875 - 1900.
Trying to find where my husband's grandparents married.
Believed Michael David Silks & Maria Lydia Keown married in George in the
English church (Would that be Church of England or Anglican ?) approx 1898.
Can anyone help me?
Who could I write to in those areas ?
Lucille Le Roux
