The Death Notices of both Daniel and Fanny are in the South African Archives.

finding them. They should list heirs, esp. children.

Trying to locate descendents of DANIEL PASSMORE
SMITH. Born 1871 in Belfast, Ireland. Served in South African
Constabulary 1901 - 1904. Married FANNY HARRISON. One son
HAROLD SMITH and possibly one daughter. Both Daniel and Fanny
died in 1948. Daniel was an accomplished musician, playing the
Euphonium. Occupation after SAC service unknown. Residence
unknown but could have been Durban. Daniel was my Maternal
Grandmother's brother.
