I am seeking information on one Lawrence Henry JURQUET, emigrated to South Africa in 1947. Family stories tell that he left his wife and children in Egypt after learning that he was terminally ill. He is believed to have died in Plaston or Royston in 1948. Would be grateful for any information, photograph of any Marker or copy of any records.
I would be grateful for any information that you might be able to give me to increase my chances of finding out what happened to him. He has 2 surviving children in their late 70's early 80's who do not really know what happened to him. I am hoping to be able to 1) find a death record for him and 2) obtain a photo of his marker, if one exists.
