I am researching my family tree in South Africa.and have reached a bit of a brick wall.

The last definitive information I have is of Philip Joseph Robinson born 1878 in Kimberley. He was married to Louisa Johanna Anderson who was born in Harrismith in 1884.

They lived at 44 Lawson street Kimberley and had the following family
Andrew Joseph Robinson
Ralph Victor Robinson
Edith Pauline Robinson
Doris Magdalene Robinson
Constance Louisa Robinson
Philip Benjamin Robinson - my father

If some further sketchy information I have is correct, then I believe Philip Joseph Robinson's father was Philip Robinson born 1856 in Cradock and he married Sarah Cahill born 1861 died 1945.
If my assumption is correct then I am particularly interested in making a further connection between Philip Robinson and a Philip Robinson born in Rochester Kent in 1819 died 1885 in Kimberley - he married Martha Elizabeth Cornelia Beytell who was born in Graaf Reinet in 1825.

If anyone has any information regarding this family I would be very interested in hearing from you. Please help.
