Please can some one advise where I can get further information, my search is on for KELLY;
My grand father Patrick Joseph Kelly, born in Maryborough, Mountmerlick, Ireland 1/4/1879. He was 1 of 21 kids born in 3 different marriages. His mother Mary Agnes (born Bray) died 8/11/1894 in Ireland. His father was Patrick Joseph Kelly. My grandfather came out to S.A. during the boer war, was in Celon as prisoner of war, released came back to S.A. and led a great life died 30/6/1960 in Durban.
My search is on for the Patrick Kelly snr; The church in Maryborough burnt down + therefore no further information is available. Of 21 kids 4 brothers came out 2 S.A. and 1 sister, of which I have info, is anyone searching this leg of family tree? Or can someone advise me what is my next direction?
