Hello list,

I am Linda living in snowy England U.K.

Andre Johnston from Aberdeen married Johanna Rachael Slabbert and they had a
daughter Petronella Johanna Johnston born 5.11.1921 Pretoria died
22.8.1978. Petronella married Charles Johannes Tobius Bloom born 4.March
1914 in Lichtenburg and died July 22nd 1978 he was the son of CHARLES BLOEM
born Aug 16 1879 who married MARTHA MARIA VENTER born 2 10 1889.

Does anyone out their have any links to this family.

I would also be grateful if someone could tell me where records of birth
deaths and marriages are stored and how to go about ordering copies. Are
their any maps of S.A. on line as I cannot find Lichtenburg on my very small
and ancient map.
