I am trying to trace living or dead relatives of Major John William Jackson b.1/6/1884 Willaston, Cheshire England. Son of Elizabeth and Thomas Jackson. He fought in the Boer War and later in WW1. He died 20th July 1916 France. John was married to Annie Frances, they had six children and lived in Winburg OFS. I have already put an advert in the Volksbladt paper in Winburg but did not get any response. John is my great uncle. I have a lot of information on John's family and ancestors dating back to the 1700's.
