The first few generations of the MEINTJES family are in SA Genealogies Volume
5 (L-M). You can buy the family history on CD for US$15 postpaid at
www.rarereprints.com

de Lange is in the same volume of SAG. Merlati is not. There is one Roodt
(or Roode) family in Volume 2 of de Villiers / Pama "Genealogies of old South
African Families".

You should also take a look at the list of family histories held by GISA:
