According to "Personalia of the Germans at the Cape" by Hoge:
he was the "Son of Rev. Johannes Dreyer and Anna Catharina Jensen, * 1.1.1668.
(Information from the late Dr. A. Dreyer, archivist of the Dutch Reformed
Church.)"
Best wishes

Dear Ilse
I am looking for information on the "Nesserak", which docked in Table Bay,
Cape in 1713
I am looking for the German ancestors of :
Johannes Augustus Dreyer born on 1 January 1668. In Grube, Holstein, Germany
(Died 6 April 1759 in the Cape)
Arrived in the Cape in 1713 as a midshipman on the vessel "Nesserak" under the
name of Isaac Dalgue.
I would appreciate any help on ship's lists.
Regards
Ian Dreyer
