Hello All:

I am trying to identify a woman in a photograph taken sometime (weeks,
months, years??) before December 1864. She is described as Mrs Cornrad
(sic) Meyer of Natal, formerly wife of Jacobus Groenewald.

Is she Susanna Aletta Potgieter born 30 Oct 1820 who was married to Jacobus
Groenewald born 14 October 1808, died 12 August 1842 in Port Natal? Any
Potgieter researchers out there who might be able to tell me whether my
guess is accurate?

Any Meyer researchers out there who could tell me whether they have a widow
Groenewald who married a Coenraad/Conrad Meyer before December 1864?

All speculation welcome. Well . . . within limits.
