Dalene, not very much to go by, but a very old lady here in NZ remembers the
A/B war and when Kritzinger' commando came through their farms at Tarkastad
1901. She is 105 years old. Remembers much but cannot date it. She does
describe a trip when a horse drawn trap had to cross the Buffalo on a
pontoon. The horses were nervous so two trips had to be mad. ANYWAY the
people they visited all had measles "because the concentration camp nearby
had a very bad epidemic" From her narrative this would be before 1901, but
that's a rough guess. Not much but interesting!
