Unfortunately I have not had any luck with my request. Will let you know if

I have just bought a book "Was your Grandfather a Railwayman" by Tom
Richards. At the back is a bit about S.A. railways, with postal addresses of
who to contact for information. Was hoping however that I might be able to
do some research online.
