Clarkes bookshop in Cape Town is on-line, they also have an e-mail list for
their (online) catalog. You can find them by searching on www.google.com

Protea bookshop in Pretoria does e-mail, and seems to have more genealogy
books than others. I don't know their e-mail.

If you know what you want, try www.bookfinder.com
This is truly wonderful. It seems to search the other book searching
services. I have bought used books on SA from all over the world, at very
good prices.

To find booksellers, try searching bookfinder for a book you already have.
You will get e-mail addresses, and an idea of who has good prices.

others not relating to them,the first name 'magdalena' is reccuring,is this
common throughout south africa,is their a reason for this?

p.p.s if people are looking for webspace to store family webpages display
files ,scanned text etc,build a site,i have been using www.exit.de a pretty
unknown german site for some time,i can pretty much reccomend them since i
have 25 mb of space and no ads.
