Hi All Researchers,
Can anyone provide advice or recommend a good software program, reasonably
priced and available in South Africa, to do old photo touch-ups? I have
recently purchased an HP scanner but have not had much success with the
software it came with.
Regards

Dear Mark and Everyone Else,
There are computer programs available to photographers where they are able
to enhance details, improve resolution, and erase blemishes on old black
and white photos. I was successful in accessing these processes on a very
damaged negative. It was costly, but well worth it. The process works well
on prints although best using the negatives. My negatives were from 1898
and on glass! Check around with professional photographers who might have
upgraded their processes with these programs.
Good Luck!
