Hi
I have just been reading a book "Thomas Pringle in South Africa 1820-1826
In it he spoke of the area Lynden in the Biviaans-River one of the smaller branches of the Great Fish River in the upper part that it had been occupiied as grazing ground by a few Dutch African Boers. These men had been dispossed, and some of them excuted for high treason about five years before in consequence of their having taken part in the Slagter's Nek rising in 1815,
Is there any recording of who these men were
Any idea's
