The Africana Library, Kimberley offer an amazing service for anyone with ancestors who lived in Kimberley. At a cost of R50.00 (plus postage and photocopies) per surname, they are able to look up every reference to that surname...
including:
voters rolls, directories, cemetery lists, master of the supreme court estate index, newspaper and magazine articles, obituaries, marriage/baptism records, wedding announcements, municipal records and many others.

I dealt with Mrs Kokkie Duminy who was very, very helpful. I was amazed at the amount of information that she sent me... I found many new links and was able to confirm many other relationships.
