Jill
Welcome home!....... good to be back in "hicksville" hey?
I agree that we are way behind, esp wrt the Genealogy - seems South Africans
are not as eager to trace their roots as others and also not as open and
generous with info they do have. Anyway I am generalising here as I too am
a South African yet I am having a great deal of trouble trying to access
info on SCOTTS and STOFBERGS whom I am researching here.
Most STOFBERG families are STOFFBERG with a double f. & SCOTT's - well
needless to say are a dime a dozen anyway my ex-mother-in-law has a family
bible with about four generations in it which should actually come to my
eldest twin son when he is of age - but knowing how spiteful she is she will
probably burn this rather than let me get my paws on it.
Well like I say welcome back and bye.
Jules
