To every one on this list, whether I have corresponded with you are not, just a thank you for all the incredible amount of information that comes through each day.
Also to wish you all the best of everything and may 2000 be the best yet.
But have a giggle....
Christmas Cake Recipe (printed in "The NZSG Greater London newsletter)
1 cup water 1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs lemon juice
2 cups dried fruit nuts
1 teaspoon baking soda 1 gallon whiskey
Sample the whiskey to check for quality. Take a large bowl. Check whiskey again. It must be the highest quality. Pour one level cup and drink
Turn on the electric mixer and beat one cup butter in a fluffy bowl. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and beat again. Make sure the whiskey is still OK. Cry another tup. Break two legs and add to the bowl and chuck in in the cup of dried fruit. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver.
Sample the whiskey to test for tonsisiticity. Next sift 2 cups of salt. Or something. Who cares. check the whiskey. Now sift the lemon juice and strain the nuts. Add one table. Spoon. Of sugar. Or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven. Turn the cake tin to 350. throw the bowl out the window.
check the whiskey again. Go to bed. Who the heck likes fruit cake anyway
