As I near the final stages of my book, I came across the reference
for Colin Campbell. As follows:



JOHN MARKHAM...

"I have his diary, but I don't know where he fits in except that
he is a relative of mine. He served in the Indian Campaign under
General Sir Colin Campbell in 1857, 1858 and 1859, including the
defeat of the Givalior Contingent at Cawnpore. The diary I have
is a copy of one in the Army Museum in England."
