I too agree with you on the CD issue. Not only will searching be a
breeze,
but also the data transfer. It took me 3 days just to key in the data
from
Vol 5 into my gen. program. Add to that another 1 day for verifying
the
information. Too time consuming and obviousy prone to errors.
Another reason is the errors that appear in Vol 5 (and others). How
do
these get corrected in the printed medium? If done electronically,
these
corrections could easily be sent (via email?) to subscribers on a
periodic
basis. I'm not advocating the demise of the printed medium ( I don't
find
curling up with a good electronic book on my laptop too appealing) -
just
augmenting it with an electronic service.
