Would any listers know where I might be able to find records for the
Bechuanaland Police? I've come across a reference to an A. POWELL who was
"appointed" in 1886 and am wondering where I could find out more about this
person, and what the "A" might stand for (possibly Abel?).

Also, I have a list of British Officers who lost their lives in the Boer War
1899 - 1902, from an article in the Family History Monthly magazine of June
1997. This gives the Officer's last name and initials, rank, regiment, and
date of death, if available. I'm willing to do searches for listers, but
please keep in mind this is a list of OFFICERS only.
