Hi Barbara and other listers,
I have access to the Passenger Lists for the Minerva - sailed from London
26 April 1850 and arrived at Port Natal 3 July 1850 as well as the Haidee -
sailed from Hull on 10 July 1850 and arrived at Port of Natal on 7 October
1850
As far as I am aware Passenger Lists for the Byne's Scheme appear in Dr.
John Clark's book entitled Natal Settler Agent: the career of John
Moreland, agent for the Byrne emigration scheme of 1849-1851, Cape Town,
Balkema, 1972,
Ships Name
Wanderer
Washington
Henry Tanner
Dreadnought
Aliwal
King William
Ina
Sovereign
Edward
Lady Bruce
Conquering Hero
Minerva
Henrietta
Sandwich
Globe
Unicorn
British Tar
Emily
There is a note in Dr. Clark's book which reads <<The above tables are
based on entries from the Shipping Register, European Immigration, Vol. 73.
Natal Archives.>>
Hope this helps and feel free to ask for a look up on the Minerva and
Haidee Passenger Lists.
Regards,
Pat Smith
