Hi Alta,
The DSAB Vol V states the following about de Lange:
Born at Noutoe (the present Table Farm), Grahamstown dist.
Baptised Graaff-Reinet 8.12.1799.
He had three sons and three daughters, their names are not mentioned.
He was buried at Watersmeet, in the Ladysmith dist, where a memorial was
also erected in his honour

In Carstens and Grobbelaar Voortrekkerlewe, there is a later pencil
drawing of him on p 68.
