I recently received this request, and I can remember someone researching the
GLASS family a few months back, but have lost the thread. Would appreciate
any responses on Carol's behalf.
Here follows the context of her letter.

"I was born Carol Lynne Glass and have three brothers, Neville, Rodney &
Geoffrey who are twins. My father was Keith Palmer Glass, born 20.03.1910.
His father was James Glass, 45 years old at time of marriage to Alice Mary,
also Glass, who was born 27.05.1879, Wellington, Somerset. They were married
21.07.1902 in London. James was already farming here, having been the son of
Daniel Glass born 21.11.1809 in Somerset, died 18.11.1873. He was married to
Elize Webb in 1835. According to information in my possesion, Daniel was the
son of Thomas Glass and Ann, who came out here in the Kennersley Castle,
arriving Table Bay 29.03.1820. My entire family were from Grahamstown. I
would be most grateful for any additional information you can provide."
