Subject: Anglo-Boer War Participants - Radley

Hi
I need some help with obtaining more information about a person I believe
was an Anglo-Boer War participant.
William Thomas Radley (may be spelt Radly, Redley, Redly), born c. 1855,
died 22 June 1900 in Kimberley Hospital of pneumonia. Buried in the West End
Cemetary. The cemetary records indicate that he was British (I don't believe
this is true) with a wife and children but their names are unknown. William
Thomas Radley's were all Afrikaner South Africans and the Radley family here
fought on the Boer side mainly in the OFS (Ficksburg commando) and Transvaal
(Standerton, Bethal).
I would like to be able to:
1) Confirm his involvement in the war (where, how, side)
2) Try to identify wife and children
3) Try to identify parents
Can anyone help with information or advice where to look?
Are there lists of combatants for the two sides and where can they be found?
Thanks
Robert Radley
