Annette Finnis & Eileen Russell and all,

John North Crealock was not only involved in the Zulu War but also sketched
and wrote about the war. He penned two books, "The road to Ulundi" and "The
Frontier War Journal of Major John Crealock". Both books contain some of his
sketches. There are several articles written about the war where the
CREALOCK brothers are mentioned. Unfortunately I do not have any copies of
these books. It would be interesting to read some of these to find out why
they were so famous or not so famous. There is also a movie called "Zulu
Dawn" where one of the CREALOCK brothers is portrayed. If you are looking
for information on participates of the war, may I suggest the Zulu War
Society in England.

I am still looking for more recent information 1960-70's on CREALOCKS living
at that time in Natal.
