Hello Mike
Thanks for your kind message.
In answer to your query on future communication with the group -
Fortunately, my e- mail address is dependant on Rhodes University and
not on the museum, so I can still get access if I pester my academic
friends for occasional use of a computer. If all else fails, I will
try and get the use of a small office there and install my own
computer. Unfortunately, I can't afford to use a commercial server,
or I might operate from home.
Anyway, who knows, our problems may yet be resolved if the
appropriate government body makes some timely decisions and stumps
up the cash! Right now, we have a "stay of execution" until Friday
before the electricity gets turned off, so I am quite happy to live
for today. For all that, there are moments when I feel that I
know just how the wireless operator of the "Titanic" felt!
with best wishes
William
