Hello there, I am a new subscriber and have the following interests in South
Africa and wonder if some one can point me in the best direction to follow
to locate any information.

John BAINBRIDGE born 1832 York,YKS was apparently a member of the
Legislative Council of Natal and died in 1908 at 'Landyshider'-sic

He married a Mary Ann White and had two children
Edmund Arthur Bainbridge and Florence Beatrice Bainbridge.

George Peacock BAINBRIDGE born 1830 York,YKS was a brother to the above and
surposed to be in South Africa too at some stage. He married Wilhemina
Cornelia Johanna de Klerk the daughter of an Admiral in the Dutch navy.???

They had Susan Henrieta Bainbridge 1853,Elisabeth Anne Bainbridge 1853,
Adaline Wilhemina Bainbridge 1855 and George Peacock Bainbridge 1857
